Our story · Since 2023

Bringing the bait.
Building the rods.

Renburg's Custom Rods & Bait began in 2023 when Travis Renburg loaded an enclosed trailer with fishing tackle and live bait and set up at different locations around the lake. Instead of making anglers come to the bait, he brought the bait to the fishermen.

Travis has been fishing since he was a young boy and has spent about four years building custom fishing rods. He helps anglers choose the right type of rod and components for how they fish, with an emphasis on getting the best results from each custom setup.

Today, Renburg's specializes in crappie, bass, and catfish fishing. Along with custom-built rods, the shop offers rod repairs and live bait to help local anglers get ready for their next trip.
